MICROSOFT BUYS SEVERAL DOMAINS PERTAINING TO HALO SPARTAN ASSAULT
While Micro$oft often lays claim to domain names in an effort to protect their IPs, the timing of this being so close to E3 definitely cause to raises an eyebrow.
Using it’s usually domain management and brand protection agency, MarkMonitor; Microsoft has registered three new domains pertaining to the Halo series.
Those domains are SpartanAssault.net, HaloSpartanAssault.net, and Halo-SpartanAssault.net. All have been registered to Microsoft, though the URL currently are blank and don’t redirect anywahere.
I assume that we’ll be hearing about Halo: Spartan Assault next week at E3.

HALO “BOOTCAMP” OUTED BY KOREAN RATINGS BOARD, CONFIRMED BIG MICROSOFT

Microsoft continues to expand the Halo universe. Halo the television series was confirmed at the X1 reveal and we already knew about Halo 5 and 6 in the Reclaimer trilogy. But apparently there is another project called Bootcamp that appears to be unrelated to any of that.
The listing for Bootcamp was first found on the Korean Ratings Board (via GameFront). Microsoft has now confirmed its existence without providing any details what so ever: “What’s Bootcamp? It is not related to our Xbox One efforts, or the Reclaimer Saga, but rather a project we’re very enthusiastic about and will have more to say about in the near future.”
Whatever it is, the listing does mention Halo 3 and PC, so we could finally be seeing a non-console port of the game. Another possibility, as GameFront points out, is that it could be related to the Brian Reed novel Halo: Fall of Reach: Bootcamp. I guess we will find out soon enough, in whatever Microsoft’s definition of the near future is.
